About this event
This workshop, led by an NWEA Professional Learning Consultant, will provide teachers and staff who are new to NWEA MAP Growth information to successfully implement their first NWEA MAP Growth assessment.
The session will cover these topics:
What are the purpose and value of the MAP Growth assessments?
Learn what makes the MAP Growth assessments unique and meaningful
How do the MAP Growth assessments work?
Experience a sample test of MAP Growth
Understand and practice the steps for proctoring MAP Growth
How do we prepare for and administer the MAP Growth assessments?
Identify tasks to complete before, during, and after testing
Plan for how to communicate about MAP Growth with students and families
This workshop will be held in Luper conference room at the OKC OPSRC office. Parking in front of the building is limited but there is a large parking area with direct access behind the building. Handicapped accessible parking and building access is available in front of the building.
Space is extremely limited for this event so districts are limited to a maximum of 5 participants per district. Additional people will be put on a waitlist and contacted if a space opens up.
