Description
Join us Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 9:30 am-2:00 pm for "AERO Oklahoma" Aviation, Aerospace & Defense Awareness Day at the State Capitol
Event Details
The purpose of Aviation & Aerospace Day is to recognize Oklahoma’s aviation, aerospace, and defense industry as a vital economic engine for our state. It is a unique opportunity for industry officials to come together in one unified voice and meet with state legislators and other elected officials to remind them of Oklahoma’s strong aviation heritage and show them firsthand how the industry continues to solidify our state as a worldwide leader in aviation, aerospace, and aerospace and defense.
Many of the state’s top aerospace entities participate in this Aviation & Aerospace Advocacy Day and will have exhibit booths set up around the rotunda to promote their organizations and to show what impact they and the rest of the state’s aerospace industry have on Oklahoma’s economy.
Aviation and Aerospace industry officials and workforce, military, pilots, aircraft owners, educators, students, and more should make plans to attend. The event is free but we do ask that you register so we may assist you with event updates and up-to-the-minute information. Lunch tickets are available separately for $10 per person plus the Eventbrite fee. The available amount of lunch tickets are limited due to space.
For more information contact Sandra Shelton, Government Relations and Communications Manager for the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission at sshelton@oac.ok.gov or (405) 604-6915.
